Ikan Tuna Raksasa Dilego Rp 1.64 Miliar !

PARA pencinta seafood dihebohkan oleh penemuan ikan tuna raksasa.Ikan itu memiliki bobot 233 kg.Biasanya, ikan tuna ukuran besar hanya seberat 40-51 kg.
Namun, nasib ikan yang ditangkap di lepas pantai utara Jepang itu kini tergolek di pasar pelelangan ikan terbesar Tsukiji Tokyo, Jepang. Ikan tuna jenis bluefin ini dilego seharga 16 ,3 juta yen atau USD177 ribu. Harga itu setara dengan Rp1. 648.755.000 ( Rp9.315 per USD). "Tuna raksasa itu diperebutkan oleh dua pemilik restoran sushi di Jepang dan di Hong Kong," ujar seorang petugas Tsukiji Tokyo, seperti dikutip dari Associated Press, Rabu (6 /1 /2010). Tuna jenis bluefin merupakan spesies yang paling dicari oleh pecinta panganan khas Negeri Sakura tersebut. Sekadar diketahui, sekira 40 persen dari berbagai ikan yang dilelang di pasar tersebut berasal dari luar Jepang, seperti Indonesia dan Meksiko. Jepang adalah konsumen makanan laut terbesar di dunia. Makanan laut yang dikonsumsi warga Jepang 80 persennya berasal dari samudera Atlantik dan Pasifik. Ini bukan yang pertama kalinya. Sebelumnya pada 2001 , ditemukan ikan tuna raksasa serupa dengan berat 200 kg. Saat itu harga ikan dijual seharga 20 ,2 juta yen atau USD220 ribu. Harga itu setara dengan Rp 2.049.300.000. ( Rp9. 315 per USD).

WALKING YOUR DOG – ELEVEN RULES

The ones to blame are the owners that often amuse themselves when they see their dogs acting this way. This way the dogs get to barking and even biting their own owner.

8. The dog must have the initial training learned and practiced, so we would have no problems when walking him.

9. All through the walk, the dog is not to chew on his leash or to pull it with his teeth, because it might happen that he is tied somewhere alone and he will chew on it until he becomes free and gets lost.

10. The dog is not allowed to jump up and out his front paws on us or others even if he is just playing.

11. Pay attention to drunken people! Many times the smell, the walk and the yelling of drunken people annoy the dog. The dog is to loose his reality sense and his instincts and therefore they won’t pay attention to any of our advices. Some drunken people are even aggressive to dogs. Stay away from them as much as possible.

PET OBESITY

Axolotl Ikan Yang Mempunyai Tangan dan Kaki !

BINATANG eksotis nan unik ini kadang disebut juga sebagai“ Mexican Walking Fish” sebab ia terlihat seperti ikan yang memiliki tangan dan kaki. Akan tetapi, sebenarnya Axolotl bukanlah sejenis ikan, melainkan sejenis salamander langka yang terdapat di Mexico City. Axolotl (ambystoma mexicanum) adalah tipe salamander yang bisa menghabiskan masa hidupnya dalam bentuk larva. Panjang Axolotl bisa mencapai 30 cm, tetapi rata-rata ukurannya hanya 15 cm.

Warna tubuh mereka rata-rata hitam atau coklat kepirangan dan banyak juga yang albino dengan warna yang lucu misalnya merah muda. Hewan ini memiliki insang yang berada diluar tubuhnya. Insang ini tampak berada disamping kepalanya sehingga sepintas tampak seperti tanduk. Orang-orang Timur sering menimbulkan fantasi yang dikaitkan pada suatu legenda mengenai ular naga sehingga tidak jarang mereka disebut juga sebagai ikan naga. Axolotl termasuk kadal yang memiliki umur panjang, Axolotl dapat hidup hingga 10 – 15 tahun dan dapat berkembang sampai 60 cm, bahkan pernah tertangkap 1 ekor Axolotl raksasa di pedalaman mexico yang berukuran hingga 1 ,4 meter, penemuan itu benar- benar mengejutkan, tetapi setelah di teliti oleh para ahli disimpulkan jika itu hanyalah keadaan abnormal yang jarang terjadi (gigantisme) Axolotl selalu hidup dalam air dan suka memakan ikan kecil, cacing, dan larva. Hewan ini terkadang muncul di permukaan air, tetapi ada juga yang menjelang dewasa dan bertambah besar tidak pernah timbul di permukaan air dan hanya tinggal di dasar danau selama hidupnya. Salamander jenis ini digolongkan dalam jenis berbahaya, karena dapat menyemburkan racun asin dari mulutnya, namun jika kelenjarnya di buang dengan benar maka hewan ini dapat di jadikan peliharaan yang lucu. Nama Axolotl di ambil dari bahasa Aztec yang berarti anjing air. Axolotl masih bersepupu dekat dengan tiger salamander. Uniknya, hewan ini bermetamorfosis hanya bila dalam keadaan terpaksa, terpaksa dalam hal ini adalah jika tempat mereka hidup sumber airnya mengering, maka Axolotl dapat bermetarmorfosis ke bentuk darat dan jika sudah ada air kembali maka Axolotl dapat kembali ke wujud air. Bentuk darat dari axolotl mirip dengan bentuk larvanya, dengan perbedaan insang yang menghilang, ekor yang lebih kompres dan mata yang nampak menonjol. Kehadiran hormon tertenu diketahui dapat memicu axolotl bermetamrofosis kedalam bentuk reptil darat. Selain itu penambahan sejumlah kecil iodine kedalam air juga bisa memicu hal yang sama. Dia dapat menumbuhkan kembali anggota tubuh, taring, kulit, organ, dan bagian dari otak dan tulang belakangnya yang terluka. Beberapa binatang lain mempunyai kemampuan untuk beregenerasi, tetapi hanya salamander Mexico yang dapat menumbuhkan kembali begitu banyak bagian tubuh yang berbeda di sepanjang hidup mereka. Axolotl dapat ditemukan di Danau Xochimilco and Danau Chalco di Mexico. Belakangan, populasi mereka terancam akibat pembangunan yang dilakukan di danau itu untuk mencegah banjir musiman, sehingga jumlah air di danau menyusut sehingga habitatnya terganggu. Masuknya ikan-ikan dari daerah lain yang diperkenalkan manusia juga menyebabkan populasinya menyusut. Jumlah axolotl di alam tidak diketahui. Namun jumlah populasi diperkirakan menurun dari sekitar 1.500 per mil persegi pada 1998 menjadi hanya 25 per mil persegi tahun ini, berdasarkan penelitian ilmuwan Zambrano menggunakan perangkat jala. Usaha panjang International Union for Conservation of Nature memasukkan axolotl dalam Red List tahunannya sebagai yang terancam punah. Mereka mengatakan binatang ini bisa hilang dalam lima tahun.
